Electricity of Viet Nam’s production and import of power increased by 6.3 per cent year-on-year in the first quarter, ensuring safe and uninterrupted supply is available amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN) sold over 58 billion kWh of electricity in the first four months of 2018, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.59 per cent.
The average electricity retail price will officially rise today to VND1,720 (7.6 US cent) per kWh, increasing 6.08 per cent from the current tariff of VND1,622 (7.1 cent) per kWh.
